Nga Mihi in room 10.

This term Rachel France has been working with room 10 on Thursdays. Our focus in the last few weeks has been on Nga Mihi or greetings.

The Mihimihi is a talk that introduces a person. It describes things like where a person is from and who their family members are. In this way learning mihimihi has strong links to our current inquiry work on citizenship. The students need to know the names of their grandparents for this activity.
